Here are the latest pictures from the build. We are now at the flotation
test stage and the test tank has been inflated and filled with the wet
stuff ! The hull has had the red/yellow bands added and the D shaped
rubber bumper has been attached. The flotation tests have gone well and it
will not need a great deal more ballast to float at the correct level. The
trim tabs are now working well and are synchronised to the throttle
control setting as well as the throttle being mixed with the rudder
control to improve low speed manoeuvrability. The next phase is to build
and add the exhausts footboards and handrails and start to make the
superstructure look more like a Mersey.
