Paul Holman - Robbe U47,  HMS Graph

Feb 2003 -
Thought you may like this pic' of HMS Graph, taken at the weekend at Norwich Boating lake. As you can see, conditions were a bit unkind to be submersing hands in water!.

I've got her back on the bench at the moment, re-arranging the things inside, I will forward a few technical bits & pieces at a later date if you think you could use them.
Regards.
Paul Holman.

Jan 2003 -
My now fully weathered & on the local lake for the first time.

Dec 2002. - First time on the water. Tested the ballast system, 400ml water tank is just enough to take her under from this water line, although the pump is a little slow (2-3 mins). One minor hitch, there was a slight leak through the Starboard prop shaft hole, this has been cured with silicone mastic.

Build
I’ve decided to alter my Robbe U47, to U570, which was captured & renamed HMS Graph by the RN. When complete, including weathering, she will also have a static diving system.

I’ve spent about three months to get her to this stage, I’m hoping to begin “sea trials” at the beginning of December.

She was to have working torpedoes, but I’m struggling for space in the bow, so a rethink is in order.

Converted inner tray, chopped about to take additional gear.

After Battery , connected in series to Fwd battery.

Ballast tank, Car windscreen washer pump underneath, pumping into a rubber bag inside the tank, She can hold 250ml of water, this should be enough to just take her under, & is operated by ESC.

Conning tower, complete with improved Winter Garten, Soon to be home for an AA gun, courtesy of Accurate Armour.
