...Hi Guys...

We are planning this years event for Sunday 14th of June 2009 at Glasgow Richmond M.B.C. in Glasgow...

Our Full Harbour Layout Will Be Utilised For This Event...On The Water & Table Top Displays Of Tugs & Workboats Of All Types, Shapes & Sizes...

Several Competitions will be organised for the day...Towing Bulker into Port Empty...Towing Bulker out of Port Fully Loaded...2  &  3 tug Teams... Single Tug Towing...Barge Pushing...Springer Tug Football...

Get This Date Into Your Diary & Come Along & Spend A Day With The Hardest Working Jocksters On The Forum...

We ussually have a Bring & Buy Stall aspart of the days events so Yes,,,Ther will be a Stall for selling Boats & Stuff...

Just a wee reminder & update for the 3rd Annual Scottish Model Tug-In...

Its all coming together well for our event on the 14th of June at Richmond Park in Glasgow...

For the guys who were asking about accomodation, There are a few Travel Lodges & Hotels locally...
After all our pond is only about half  a mile from Glasgow City Centre...

If you look at the pictures in the Posting about our recent Open Day you will sse our Harbour Layout being used by model boats of all types...

So if you have any questions at all about our event, Don,t Hesitate to get in touch...

There will be several tugs & other Workboats For Sale on the Bring & Buy Stall at the Scottish Tug-In...
I took some pictures this afternoon of 3 vessels...

1.  "NORDERNEY" PartBuilt Kit...
2.   Tid Tug "AGNES"...
3.   Clyde Pilot Vessel   "CUMBRAE"...

There will also be a selection of Tug Hulls & other bits & Pieces...

I will post details & pictures in the For Sale Section of the Forum...

Could anyone planning a visit let us know so we might be able to gauge how many possible visitors & from where...

This would also help in catering for your needs in refreshments etc...

Went up to glasgow well impressed great bunch of tugers :-))
got to tow the big boat O0 i will try to post some pict.

You missed a great day mate..I`m not a tug man myself...more into warships , but you`ve got to give it to these guy`s,the skill used during the towing event was pretty damned impressive  :-)) :-))

Don`t tell anyone..but I might just build one of these towing thingy`s myself O0

Maybe not grey Mark but RMAS colours are quite neat.
I quite fancy the Impetus class tugs at Faslane.....

OOP's I got sent a set of engineers and general arrangment drawings 4 years ago which were unclassified I have not round to using them yet,
