The ENTIRE boat has been built by Eric, including making the patterns for every single brass fitting- from the wheel to the tiny stanchions for the rail on the engine casing!!!

Should be on the water next year- must be one of the most beautiful amateur new-builds in recent years.

Greg....couldn't agree more!   Send my regards and compliments to Eric, that is a LOT of work. :o.........trust me I know.

I am going to steal his canopy build techniques for "Rushforth"    O0

Hi Dave,

I will let him know next time I see him- an added bonus of Eric using top spec' materials is that i've now got all the 'useless' offcuts that he had in a bin waiting to be kindling- the teak he bought was at £180 psq.ft- I must easily have that much in offcuts!!! My next launch is going to have a VERY nice cabin and engine casing! :D :D :D

Have you got a thread started for your build?

Hi Bernhard,

Very pretty boat for some lucky person- not too keen on clipper bows though so I wouldn't be making an offer even if I had the cash, the carving on the stem is impressive though.

Derek- look at the bottom of the post- revised price.

Another one for Roger I think!! O0

Can tell you roughly 40ft long, very long counter stern so probably 1885-1895, small loco boiler, probably a HP twin or a small compound looking at the engine casing size.
