There were a couple of general Q ship points that could have been added to the back story. Queenstown (now Cobh) was rife with German sympathy so secrecy, sailing dates etc. was very marginal and the fact that RN Regs meant that the Germans had to shoot first and we couldn't respond until the Red/White Ensign was flown.

Interesting that there is a joint between planking method's half way down, and I cannot image the noise from the original engines.........oh and the tiny rudders
