Great photos Greg, made the mistake of showing the wife now she wants a kitten.

My dog is not so tolerant of cats as yours are. He never did get on with our cats.

Love the dogs.

Thanks DickyD :-))

Mum's full of kittens again if wifey is interested :-)) O0 {-) Due end of January I'd guess!

The trick with dogs is to introduce them as pups to an existing bunch of cats, they grow up thinking their just bigger cats! {-) {-)

Later more kittens arrive and the dogs litrally mother them as new brothers and sisters. It helps if your dogs are big softies too! {-)

Mum wanders off leaving the dogs in charge!

Amazing to watch.

If the kittens find themselves in a sticky situation, either dog will pick them up ever so gently in their jaws and move them to safety.

Been trying to catch that one on me camera but so far I've not been quick enough! {-) >>:-(

I've got a photo some where of the black and white long hair kitty all soggy after a good wash by Rex, he really goes to town and the cats love it! :o

Mine was brought up as a pup in a house of cats and he still cant stand them.

Mind you he is a big softy.

Fortunately Yorkshire is a bit to far to go for a kitten

Very Carefully!!!
She is my wife's dog, Liz can do almost anything with her.
But whenever someone visits Tia is always between the visitor and Liz.

Here's the old boy, affectionately known as The BBF...the Big Black Fella.

16" of Peruvian High Backed Black piranha...he was a personal import from Peru, one of two to come into the country at that time. The other was named Boris for some strange reason... %)

Beautiful dogs Greggy- and trained so well too.

Here's my dog, had to have him put to sleep a few weeks ago- parents house is very empty without him- favourite dogs in the world- huskies then border collies then german shepherds.

Here is our Curly Coated Retriever "Holly" in festive anticipation. The old girl is nearly 11 but still a happy dog who sometimes thinks she is still a puppy and then has to sleep it off for a couple of hours!

Happy Christmas everyone.

I don't have any pets of my own, but on weekends, holidays and other people's vacations, I have theirs. My "Crew" is about 30 strong ranging from a six pound chihuahua to a 130 pound golden retriever. ;)  I call every day I have a dog around a dog day, so in March I had a banner month with 54 dog days, but of course, I take up to 4 at a time, so one day may be classified as 4 dog days.  I screwed up my bookings one day and had 6 of the little rug rats trying to make me trip and fall on my face.  Thank the powers that be that none of them weighed over 20 pounds. {-) My wife and I call them the grand dogs, as like grandkids, you get tired of them being under foot, you send them home %%.
