Over the past few nights I have made up a smoke unit, 12 volt with a small fan that pushes the smoke through the tubes and out the exhausts, this will be linked to the sound system to start at the same time and run for a few seconds...

Well I filled the smoke unit up with baby oil and this is now operated on a timer, engine sound starts along with smoke machine and then the smoke machine switches off after about 20 seconds, trying to finish the hand railing on the wheelhouse now....

Russ,
did you get any suitable photos of the Tamar on the water? I have only seen one on the water,in a small portable pool, which was the super model made by Phil Locke. I hope you can get some more of your build before you depart for Aussie land, when is it you actually go,I seem to remember it is quite soon,so you will have to give your build watchers something to see before you go !

A couple of shots on the water from this morning, sailed well with all the added weight, only ran her on 12volt today as there were quite a few boats on the water....

Saw her sail this morning.
She looks very good on and off the water. Also has exhaust smoke on start up.
Still I am not green with envy, its a new sun cream called Shrek I am trying out. O0 {-) {-)

The other Tamar is a 1/16 Model Slipway one belonging to another club member.

Russ makes such good progress as SWMBO locks him in the workshop each night, lol. O0
