Hi Gents.
Got one for all you knowlegable guys out there.
I bought one of those cheap 40 meg Cirrus receivers for an small yacht I`m building,checked the connections and theres nowt for battery pack connection.
Designed for a Becc system I think,question is,can I input a battery pack in any way?
Remember,your talking to a complete R/C moron here,so be gentle guys

 I am sure if you put the battery into the
servo ports it will work fine.

hi Big Bry and Ging

What happened at the South Shields show?  I didnt see the faces ... anyway, the Cirrus RX - normally I use a Y lead plugged into Channel 4 (one side of the Y lead battery - the other side number 4 servo).

If you have a look at the end of the Cirrus receiver, where the servo plugs fit - you will see there is notch down the left hand side which takes the Futaba plug.

Black outside pin - negative

Middle pin - red - positive

outside pin - white - for owt ya like  sometimes we use it as a signal.

I`m afraid I could`nt make it down,the missus told me I had more important things to do(more important than a show?????? silly wench )
I know Ging is saving his groats for the Dortmund show next week(If they let him in the country that is )
I`ll be going to most of the remaing shows this year,so we`ll hopefuly meet up at one of them mate

Big Bry - hi there

Cirrus RX are a good little receiver.  I have 2-3 of them...and you can get a good range out of them.  Over 100 miles...make that yars or even yards... tired after the show  

The only downside with them is that you sometimes split the case when inserting the servo plugs - they are sometimes tight (the plugs fitting into the case that is) and it parts the case - but a bit of lecky tape around the casing solves this no bother.

It`s all gone together with no problems mate and will be left in the yacht permanently
