Very smart Bernhard. O0 I am going to try something to do the same as I have no machine! I'll let you know if it works. But for sure, these "locks" look bright!

As always brilliant Bernard.  Even down to the spilt oil from the oil can, fantastic attention to detail.

Bernhard, I was just reading through the postings again and wish to add my congratulations for a great job but also a couple more questions if you do not mind? You say earlier that you are using a 60mm Rivabo propellor and from the photo it looks to be 3 blade. Is this enogh to make the engine work hard? I have a fiberglass River Queen (875mm long) from Kingston Mouldings. It is not to the standard of yours unfortunately but still fun to work on. In that I have the Graham Industries single cylinder engine with a 3 blade variable prop which is 55mm diameter and about 65mm pitch. The single cylinder engine easily drives this so I thought that for my next boat which I am going to use the Graham twin I would need a bigger prop but if the 60mm works for you I would be happy with that. Also is the boiler one of the standard Maccsteam ones or did Mike make it especially for you? Finally, where did you get the whistle? Keep up the great work. Cheers, Ian.

hey Ian..I have a 60 mm 4 blade Rivabo prop on now.........and  i still wenting to get my Heron back from Nick....,,on my River Queen from Kingston...i also have a Rivabo 60mm...and a Anton Cristal engine,,,work perfect.....so the Graham will easily do the job...Yes Maccsteam did this boiler to me sometimes ago... 80mm wide 130mm long..6  tube in 28 mm burner,,ca 475ml water ,,,,,,,,The whistle is from USA,,,
