As a new member to this great forum i have decided to fall back to build model boats again (Tug boats and support vessels mostly)
For the past 15years i have been totally dedicated to scale airplanes from the WWII era, but the last six month i have started to miss the joy of building scale boats and have now decided to start again  
For a couple of years i had the opportunity to look in to a build of Model Slipways Aziz, and i was really impressed of the kit and quality.
Earlier i have mostly build kits from Billing Boats such as Banckert, Smit Nederland, Zwarte Zee etc.

But now when i had decided to start up again whit boat modeling i have decided to go for a Model Slipway kit, but i cant really decide which model to build right now. For now I'm looking at the Yorkshireman, Aziz and Envoy Class Admiralty Tug.
Is there anybody here who can give me some personal recommendations on this three kits and make it easier for me to choose?

  I have the Envoy class tug kit. I haven't built it yet, but I have seen two built and they are excellent. The kit looks, to me, to be very  good with excellent castings and instruction book. I expect the remainder of your selections will be about the same, but up to your choice.

From my time time on the forum i have seen all of these tugs built by members so unfortunately i cannot recommend just one there all as good as each other, instructions are clear and precise
the quality of the parts are all very good, it will come down to what your budget is and which tug takes your fancy more then others, personally i like the Envoy class as there are far to many Yorkshireman & Aziz about and something a bit less common hits the right spot for me.

Although before you set out to purchase from Model slipway have you also looked at Mobile Marine Models? they specialise in model tugs and there kits are also just as good in quality, they do have a larger range to pick from both modern and old fashioned.

Thank you for your replies, did a 'look around' earlier today and did find a couple of really nice Envoy (Englishman) build threads. They really looks great those steam tugs 
For now it looks like i will go for the Envoy Class Tug.
But i also checked out the link to Mobil Marine models and really liked the 'Lady T' http://www.mobilemarinemodels.com/acatalog/Lady_T.html

Well, i gonna think it over for a couple of days more, but I really get hooked up on the Envoy tug today

Pick which ever you want, after all its your build, Just wanted to make sure you had looked at other options before commiting your cash, its called 'sods law' when you see something after your paid out that would have been better .

A decision has been made. I gonna order the Envoy Class Tug, military version from Model Slipway  
But i have also decided to wait until i have moved to my new location. It's not so long time left, gonna get the keys 1th of April. And it wont be any build anyway until i have moved in to my new apartment and get my new workshop finished up.
No idea to just moving a lot of boxes around...
