Grimlin's first
« on: March 23, 2011, 06:36:02 pm »

Hello! :-)
Today was a nice day and it was time to remove from the shelves the work done this winter.
So I decided to sail the "Grimlin". Name given by my grand children as I call them so.
First time in the water and very promising. ok2
I have more than 30 min autonomy full speed & 2 bars pressure.
The engine is Anton/Jade 3cc and the boiler comes from JPB. The hull is made in Belgium. (We talked about it Goliath post already).
As you will see, she rotates in an handkerchief surface.
This is all fun as , 60 cm long , 3 kg and set inside the boot of any car.Hope you enjoy! Have a good night! :-))

Vice nice indeed. Looks great under way with a full head of steam. Well done. Don't forget to let the grand kids have a turn.
