Its not what happens that matters, its what's perceived to be happening that causes the problems!

Can he swim?   :-))   Can't see the Vid but is this just a minor observation. When challenged, the answer will probably be met with a tirade of Anglo Saxon specifying "It's a free country"  and not "harming any one".   Pity it doesn't show anyone chucking the half loafs in though, another one for feeling the collar.

Dougal,
You summed that very nicely
Circlip,
Then he will be wrong, won't he, It's not a free country, its bound by law's not all of them in the law books, the laws of good behavuoir which make society such as it is, and it is harming others reputations, and may cost the club the use of the lake.
Would seem its time to have a quiet talk to the reporter from the paper and the perpetrater, out back of the carpark, so to speak.
No violence now though, can't have that now can we officer.
cheers

But the BBC do go on a bit about it don't they? Meanwhile large parts of the UK have been significantly flooded with relatively minimal coverage.

Nelson Mandela was indubitably a great man and nobody disputes that but why does the BBC have to repeat the same coverage ad infinitim every few minutes which tells us nothing we did not already know?

It all seems a bit OTT to me really.

Couldn't happen, yes they have all the technology; Just remember ASDA and Tesco already have options on the useable sites.

Managed to watch the MGB on the news, £100,000 to overhaul the diesels.

Another news item re: a full sized vessel struggling for funding is the Medway Queen, despite the good news of her being towed from the builders in Bristol to Kent, things aren't that rosy.

Keeping a full sized historic vessel doesn't appear to be easily affordable.

There are people for whom the prohibitions do not exist.
This gentleman was skiing off groomed in a prohibited area tracks.
When respects nothing is what happens

 >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-( >>:-(
If he had to observe the prohibitions, he had skied on authorized trails it would be healthy with his wife and children.
Here the news is not good at all

Off piste skiing is a recognised activity.
This guy probably knows more about safety
precautions than most.
He was wearing a helmet, he is superbly fit,
A combination of wind thinning the snow off
piste and the rocky substrate had a bearing
on the accident.
My thoughts are with his family at his bedside
and with the medical team caring for him.
I was never a fan of his but I respect his achievements

the sky off piste is forbidden as unsecured.
What good is it to maintain all tracks if going unconscious outside.
This guy as you say know maybe a safety track cars but not sky.
Proof! it is clever enough skied where there is a lot of protruding rocks.
it pays the bills!
it would be a stranger looks like him: he is a fool
there are known idiots.

Sorry but off-piste skiing is to sign his death certificate.
