Yes you get what you pay for, Raboesch props are soldered and way off balance because of it, whereas Propshop props are cast brass.

If you were to read my previous reply No3 you will see I have given you the sizes.

And no, I would not recommend something I would not use, especially green plasticy ones

I use those green plasticky ones i think there allright actually  :-)) gets my speed boat up to 15knots nice n cheap. BUT they come in 4mm drive dog drive only and not as low as 20mm.

However i have used these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MARINE-MOTOR-TOY-BOATS-STICK-MOTOR-/150632573036?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item231266a86c

I bought these when i was making small 3-6v rc boats and the propellers are push fit on a 2mm axle. there crude and the pro builders here will hate it but do the job grand. when you get them just gently prize the prop off the spindle.

Have a look here
http://www.towboatjoe.com/shafts.htm
With a pair of tin snips, a small drill, a file a bit of Pritt, a printer and a soldering iron, you can make your own.  If you are desperate to avoid making your own shaft assembly, find a brass nut to match your shaft thread, and solder it to the prop.

If you're into cheap and do-it-yourself then Display Models may be able to help you....

The centre holes all seem to be around 2mm

I hope he doesn't mind me uploading a scan or two of his catalogue - BTW he advertises in the small
ads in the back of MM and Model Boats
