MBDesign Trawler Cat
« on: August 29, 2011, 04:28:03 pm »

Well I purchased my winter project from Models by Design at Birchwood after seeing the Mac,s Mouldings 1/12 scale
fishing boat. A Trawler Catamaran. Has anyone built a similar project? I intend to make a working trawl net,
with the net being drawn over a stern roller.
Has anyone made a similar project? or got any photo,s that may help me with building this boat.

John, have a look under "working vessels " 1/12th cygnus gm 33. Many of the photo's show the trawl net and winch. Lifeboatpaul and Ray111 have some good pictures. Alan

Hi there John, looking forward to seeing this one down the lake. Macs Mouldings is usually at Blackpool, says he'll be there and at Warwick on his website anyway. You'll have to do a build thread on this one? Maybe see you down the lake on Wednesday weather permitting of course, I should be down with Our Lass again, Dave.  :-))

Glad to see I am not the only one who leaves the barcode on the deck supports
Can't see them when the deck is fixed down is my excuse  {-)
