Need measures to control slide Stuart Turner SUN
« on: May 07, 2012, 11:09:48 pm »

Hi,

I have now in two otherwise identical motors two different control valves:

Stuart has no plans anymore, just a nearly unreadable PDF, here is the relevant excerpt:

Does anyone have the correct dimensions for me? Or possibly an original plan?

Thank you very much

Hendrik

Love the video of the steam car.

Hi Hendrik,
I'm a big fan of your projects.
You have a MAD-MAX style of design, which I love.  :-))
I am preparing to build a 1906 Stanley land speed record car.
It will be 1/4 scale ( 121.92cm length ) .
The steam engine will be exact replica of the original race engine.
I have the CAD drawings for the complete body and engine.
I'm planning to offer a dozen machined engine kits for sale sometime next year.

Thank you both!

@ george: you get P.M.
I just got a plan, but i know there where at least two versions of plans. Maybe yours is the second.

@ giovanni: great project!! And a big car with 120 cm. My Prototyp is about 85 cm.
I am interested in your engine and canīt wait to see your car driving!

Best regards

Hendrik
