Servo Control
« on: May 19, 2012, 06:56:03 pm »

Hi I don't know if anybody can help me I have put 2 servos in my boat they are on there side and when you look at them both tops face each other. The problem I have is that both work of a double connector going to a single connector on the receiver. When I use the control stick 1 works the way I want it to go and the other servo goes the opposite direction [ie both clockwise]. What I want is when I push the control stick one servo goes clockwise and the other goes anti clockwise. I cant alter the way I have them fitted so looking to see if its possible to do this. Other wise I will have to use than 2 channels which is a bind.

Thanks John

In that case, why 2 servos?  2 servos working off the same stick in the same area and operating in the same direction = 1 servo.

Use a servo reversing lead   http://www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=JP7721044&area=ACCS

Plenty of other shops sell them too

Could you move the servo linkage from top say to bottom to reverse throw on on servo? John.

Hi thanks the servo reversing lead sounds about right. The 2 servos work the trim tabs linkages on the lifeboat I am building and I put them in before I put the deck etc on and did not try the 2 servos together. Now a big problem to alter them. I am using 2.4 Planet 5. Will post pictures when working right.

Thanks John
