The traffic jam on Blackpool seafront was extraordinarily bad - it took us hours to travel just over a mile!   >>:-(
We've never seen so many  chippies, Kebab shops or slappers out a Saturday night .....er....ever!

Good shop I thought, great venue, very busy! Well done Mark (A Model World) et al!

Great photos already chaps, thanks. Mine to follow as soon as my feet stop burning!

Martin

PS. We're staying Widnes tonight. Couldn't find the hotel so we took the midnight tour of Runcorn and Widnes..... 3 times be fore we fount it... drove past it twice but couldn't find the entrance road!!!

PPS.  Rottweller, found that chippy .... but couldn't park with 10 miles of the place!!!

PPPS. Any of you know the Runcorn bridge? VERY impressive at night!

Unusual angle, don't see a lot of pics of the "new" bridge from the Widnes side.  It's an excellent shot, by the way.
The bridge was opened in the early 60's and replaced a "transporter" bridge.  behind the steel bridge you can just make out the railway bridge which carries the Liverpool-Crewe-London line.

After .... numerous attempts,  >>:-(      I've now sorted my photos and uploaded them:

http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/shows2012/Blackpool/index.html

A few Highlights:

Mark ( A Model World ) with a gentleman that attended the show on his 86 birthday!
( Mark is no Pavarotti )

'Port Maud' by Derek Mayler - Winner of the Mayhem model of the Show award.

Bospokoinv (620)  & Admiral Chabanenko (BPK 650) by Richard Motyka.
( ALL scratch built - truly outstanding. You need to travel far and wide to find better.  My photos don't do justice...)

Nearly bought this for £150 ... but couldn't find anywhere to hide it in the car.

Electronic Speed Controllers    RIP

Other outstanding models...

AND NOW for something completely different.................at the close of play on sunday, I found this small piece of fishing net and four orange bobbins attached on the slope down to the rear car park from the back entrance to the show hall.....................................obviously from one of the fishing vessels that was there..............if it's one of yours or one of your pal's boats, please pm me with the address and I'll send it back to you.
