New version! The return of the seaport workboat!

Our beloved seaport workboat returns as a fire fighter with up to date rc equipment!

* 2,4 GHz 6-channel rc system with 4 proportional and 2 switching channels
* sound modul with motor sound and foghorn (operated from rc)
* LED floodlight on front and rear (operated from rc)
* cabin ligthing (operated from rc)
* water cannon (operated from rc)
* up to 15 min. battery life
* 9,6 V/750 mAh battery with Tamiya plugs
* 230 V charger
* electronic speed controller

It doesn't seem to be available yet. The price I've seen is about 190€ (£160, $250).

Until its in the shops it would be wrong to comment very much. But the battery capacity seems small and the run time therefore short. Again until final pricing is known its difficult to comment further. But if the price stated is correct, then if its properly built and being 2.4 then it may sell ok. Sadly at my club we have seen disappointed younger folk whose parents brought the cheap model only to find problems. John.

Personally £160 is a rip off. the sounds are bad since the RPM doesn't change & the engine stops when the horn is sounded. the run time of 15 mins is awful & it still leans too much.

My tug will run for hours on a lower voltage than specified for the motor with upgraded radio gear.

If it has the carson 6 Channel radio gear then at least that is reusbale... its quite a popular radio set in Europe
