Yippee holiday round the corner

Well after the week from hell at work I thank god it's Friday and 7 days from now I will be sunning myself with the missus and our best friends on a beach in Turkey, I have never looked forward to a holiday more, our hotel has 5 star rating on all the reviews in trip advisor, and I am looking forward to the swim up bar. I will be making a lot of use of that.

My missus has been checking the weather and assures me it will be fine, anyway we are British a swimup bar sounds fine in a force 9 blizzard

My missus is Scotish comes from Kirkcudbright nr Dumfries and when I say scotch I mean whiskey its a Scotish drink.

Oh no it isn't!  >>:-(      "Whiskey" is that stuff they drink in Ireland and USA which is OK in its way but definitely not 'Whisky' which comes from Scotland. Highland, Lowland, Speyside or Islay, it's all whisky and not to be confused.

 :-)) Love to go to Scotland but SWMBO  will never let me,spent most of my childhood in Dundee in the 1950s holidays love the place,not at Christmas through too cold,going to Somerset lake near by,she doesn't know that yet,our secret,Ray. :-)) :-))

We just bought some timers for the plugs while we are away on holiday and my missus was reading the instructions and burst out laughing, took me ages to get out of her what she was laughing about, every time she tried to tell me she would start laughing again. They are digital timers and they plug in the wall I kid you not the instructions say "not for use in washing machines or dishwashers"

We are in UK in motor home
the UK is not the ideal for motor home
in UK we pay to run, the fuel is very expensive
in UK we pay to park, the parking lot is very expensive
we cannot go to Park and Drive

We manage .............;

But people are very kind!

Today we belonged to AVIMORE, this evening INVERNESS, the weather is very beautiful

Unfortunately everything you say is correct the UK is an expensive place to live probably one of the most highly taxed countries in Europe hope it does not spoil your holiday too much, but you are lucky with the weather its usually rain rain rain especially in the part you are in

Gazou   Your on a good route  to Harrogate , a nice stop over in an    elegant  spar  town to savour  the Harrogate Model Engineering show certainly one of the best of its type in the UK, starts Friday ends Sunday , plenty of model ships to see  .

Regrettably, I cannot go neither has Harrogate nor to Wiksteed.

I have to belong to Gazouland (equivalent of Wicksteed)

I have to be 24 to Portsmouth for the ferry

And my wife is a real dragon in ....... small-scale models! .......
