Try Component shop     If it is not showing in the catalogue email them and I am sure they will make one..

Hi, I got one of these with a tug I purchased last year it has a battery box that holds rechargeable  AA Batteries not sure how many with out looking but it might be worth looking for something similar.

The The 9.6V 2600mAh square 2x2x2 AANiMH transmitter Battery Pack from the Component Shop is suitable replacement - it is shorter than the standard Robbe pack, but this is no problem. I enclose a pic of this pack installed in my F14 Navy.

I can't say I've ever measured that - but I've never had any problem with the duration - I get bored and retire to the pub for personal recharging before the cells run out. If I remember correctly the standard Robbe/Futaba pack was rated at about 1500mAh, so these should have a better duration. Futaba market a 3500mAh pack but it costs in excess of £60!

ps. I have owned a number of radio transmitters - the F14 Navy is my favourite. Lovely machine.

That's great thanks for the help do they put the right connector on it for the transmitter the f14 is brilliant I have got a load of channels and switches on mine

CompShop were selling these 9.6v 4+4 2600maH packs off @ £5 at Shepton Mallet. I think you need a Molex plug fitted for the F14. Iain and Co will know which.

There must be a dedicated connector for the F14, but I use a standard Futaba connector which is a good, secure fit - the polarity is helpfully marked on the circuit board.

ps. I attach  a couple of (hopefully) less boring photographs of 2 ships from my fleet which use the twin stick function on the F14 for independent control of the paddles (tank steering)
