Good morning /night all , I am useing  a Futaba FP-R118F receiver as supplied with the Navy TX ,and also Prop 12+2 decoder Am I right in thinking the decoder will plug into the port marked DSC  and the BEC into port 8/B or can thy go into any port . Have not got round to setting up the TX yet ,just at the stage of trying to fit everything in to the build and getting the cable runs tidy and marked up .Ifound the thread on servo lead length I will buy a load of wire and plugs and make some up . What I can not find is sockets that are bulkhead fitted for the insitu chargeing,useing 2 SLA 12 9 amp Hr batteries part no /supplier would be good

Most sockets are panel mounting - it is a good idea to have an in situ charging socket accessed via a removable bit of superstructure to ensure ventilation.
Personally, I would look at ready made extension leads.  For the effort involved in making your own, having someone else do the messy bits is a bargain.

DC power plugs and sockets will do the job. I use 2.5mm but 2.1mm is fine. Component-Shop also sell servo extension leads from 100mm to 1500mm at very good prices.
For connecting the decoder to the receiver follow Robbe's instructions. The flylead from the P102 can be connected into any spare socket on the receiver; just make sure the plug is the right way round (usually black wire closest to the edge of the case).
