Looks like some kind of Shrimp boat.  The deck house has a very American look to it.

I think American shrimp boat...the natural weathering is fantastic...has a guard across prop to help keep lines from catching prop....I love it....tony

The US kit manufacturer Dumas Models 'Jolly Jay' trawler is the nearest model I can think of kit wise,
been around for 30+ years and was available in different sizes.
JJ is not the exact boat your photographs depict, windows are different etc, but a similar US 'shrimper'.

I agree. Three to five coats of matt varnish ( and a new lower hull! ) and that would be a superb weathering job.

I plan to incline the wheelhouse roof at the front upwards so that I keep the internal height parallel. Do you agree?.
I need to investigate the idea of rebuilding a shrimp boat

With postal charges around £13 its not going to take much more on the bid price to get you into the realms of paying import duties. Last time I ordered from the states my item with delivery charges was a shade over £23. The taxman cometh in the shape of the postie wanting £6 odd for duty payable.

Anything over I think £20 levies the import duty, vat and a delivery charge added from the post office/courier.
