No, I don't think, so if it is openly criticising something that someone is obviously very proud of.

There is too much opening of mouth before putting brain into gear and not perceiving the impact on others these days everywhere you turn, and even light digs at someone's pride and joy might upset a person for no reason other than such a comment..

5 days till kick off. Can't wait to see all who attend! 'baloo,  no scaring the life out if me please. Shipmate 60, be good to see you and have a chat over a cuppa. JayDee looking forward to sailing our yachts together again. Chuffy, I hope you are going to sail the Atlantis.
On a side note, I have come into possession of a pulse jet......attached to a skeletal boat hull. Looks like a round the pole racer which I will be bringing along....plus maybe a few more items for the bring and buy.

Can't till next weekend :-)) as long as I get off this bloody ship on Tuesday, we should arrive at a reasonable time on Friday & hopefully not a ten hour drive in traffic.

I've just checked the BBC Weather website and both days are forecast to have light cloud and a high of about 17°; 7mph wind on Saturday and 10 on Sunday. Rain is not mentioned.

Dave mentioned 'Rain'!

... we'll let him get away with it but if it does, we now have our scapegoat!

You leave my goat alone, you weirdo!
Anyroad, my super-powers are limited to opening screw-top jars and doing up my own shoe-laces. I leave weather forecasting to the Met Office, who actually pay people even when they manage to get the weather totally wrong (eh, Mr Fish?  ok2 ). "Gizza job - I can do dat!"
