When it comes to copyrighting other peoples work for their own financial greed  gain the Americans know no bounds! This guy has copyrighted the ships Plimsoll mark and claims ownership. What was the US patent office thinking of???

I have a whisky tumbler with the Plimsoll mark etched on. Obviously one should fill to the Freshwater mark.....

This happened to Hector Handyside of Amble, one of the best Coble builders. He took an American gent under his wing and taught him quite a lot. Lo and behold he (american) went and patented the lot, I believe it was kicked into touch. nemesis

Only so called traded marked in the US . I will never stand up in court out side the US as its not a global trade mark .
