I struggle getting going in case I mess up

Have got a full Model Slipway Assurance in a box ready to start, have had for 4 years

And it still there.... <:(

On larger models, deck planking and threading stanchions seems to go on forever.
Head down, concentrate on the area at hand - an do not look up to see the vast area still to do.

The Launch, its at that point, you realise you should have built a submarine not a surface vessel!
