Should I be worried?
« on: June 24, 2019, 10:09:38 am »

I am concerned about the possibly insensitive way Supermarkets regard their customers.
Recently while shopping for a birthday card for our oldest member who was 100 years old last week.  I left no stone unturned looking for a card with 100 on it.
I felt that two cards say 50 + 50 or even 80/20, might lose the spirit of the moment and was not an avenue I wished to go down.

So into the supermarkets!  First Sainsburys, no expectation of life after 80 there!

BUT Morrisons had several cards for100's and balloons as well, clearly their customers live longer and are much happier.
So it is Morrisons for me!
Perhaps you might check out your local supermarket for life expectation?  We need feedback on this vital issue as we edge closer to wielding our final spray can!

Shufffling off for now,
Roy

Another choice would have been to select a card for a 10yr old and add a ready-made 0 sticker. However, you took the time to shop around, for which you are to be applauded - good on yer  :-) .

I'm guessing there are no actual card shops in the area?
Regards,
Ray.

Moonpig is a popular online greetings card source.

My daughter has often sent me some superb personalised cards through them.
