I am currently running a FlySky-i6 on a DF95 and soon to be linked DF65.


Being new to this mularky and being a bit (fiercely) competitive I am constantly over correcting the rudder stick too quickly and this make for a very twitchy sail with lost distance.
My question, is it possible to electronically slow the rudder response on that stick to smooth out my problem?

Hi Old Fella
If ewe are using the throttle channel, you can change the throttle curve.
Setup, across the spanner icon and down to throttle curve.

It can be used to slow down a servo, reverse its rotation and increase or limit its throw. You just turn the preset pots.

Hi old man, do you use the same stick for rudder and sail?
Usually left stick up & down Rachet = throttle./ sail
Right stick left to right center sprung. For rudder.
I would have thought for racing a quick rudder would be an advantage
Still what do I know.

The Fly Sky transmitter has rates and expo for all channels. I have one, so I know it works fine. Need to go into the setting menu, functions rather than systems, scroll down until you find 'rates & expo' and then you can experiment (make sure you using the correct channel - the number of the channel should correspond to the number on the channel of the receiver the rudder servo is plugged into). Rates mean that you select between two different amounts of movement when you move the stick, expo usually retains full movement, but you can make the servo move less near the centre of its movement and still have full rudder at full stick. It effectively dampens down the rudder, which can make life easier.

Thanks for all inf chaps, just need to sort it out now.
Using separate sticks.
There appears to be quick and too flipping quick at the moment.


Bailing out for good now,thanks for the information........the Verification via Chromebook is driving me nuts.
