Morning All,
Was wondering if anyone had tackled, or knew of a source for a hull for, a new River Class offshore patrol.I fancy giving something grey a go this winter and the lines rather take my fancy.

Do you mean 'new' as in the Batch 2s Tamar and Medway etc? These Rivers have a different hull to Severn, Mersey etc so the Sirmar hull wont build them unless you do a lot of cutting and fibre glass work.

I dont know anyone who makes the B2 hulls yet. Hopefully someone like Fleetscale grasps the bullet soon.
Clyde also had a longer hull than her predecessor batch 1s. She was called a modified B1 so her hullwont accurately build a Tyne etc.

Sirmar fittings, Fleetscale and Mountfleet models all have the OPV in different scales


I have both the HMS Mersey and the older HMS dumbarton in 1/48 scale big models and certainly hace a presence on the water, they make for good boats to walk too (wait for Martin to insert photo from mayhem bash    [size=78%])[/size]

It’s the same hull, Clyde had a flight deck that over hung the stern that is where the size difference came from

Hi Fleetscale do a 1/96th Hull not the Clyde.
