Action electronics flash gap
« on: November 13, 2023, 08:04:03 pm »

Hi, can anyone please let me know what the action electronics flash gap does. I have looked on their web site but can’t find anything on this unit. If anyone can let me know what it does and how it’s wired. Thanks

hi there,

Is there any chance that you could open up the flash unit, as it is called, and put a few photographs of the internals of the circuitry & components on here.

Then we can make our final decision.

I have a funny feeling that this may be an early version of a morse flasher unit.

Can you trace the wires in / out the units?
What do they go too?

Hi, I will have a look to see if I can open the box tomorrow. The wires go to the white connector block you can see in the picture.

As stated above open up the box and see whats written on the PCB board as most of actions products have the number photo etched into the boards.

Look on ther back of the circuit board for the project number. The original owner of Action  made a morse flasher I suspect this will be one of them.
