Well it has been a long time since an update on this build I bet you all thought it had been sold etc etc WEll guess what it is STILL alive 
 
I simply hadn't had the time with one thing and another so I gave it to a very good fried of mine and prolific boat builder Derek....some of you might know him as Boatman Wales on Ebay and I know some of you have bought boats from him and His work is simply excellent.
 
He has finished it off to a stage where I can get it up and running with minimal work by myself.
 
I started off by wiring up the mast ,all of the leds have been hard wired up to a copper buzz bar where all the resistors have been individually soldered on with a common Poss, some has been done to all the earths on it,int of the Cabin and Bridge,work lights were also added to the fwd and rear deck are,in total 21 leds supplied form Component shop have been utilized,and they will be worked by an ACTion switcher,Next move on the leccy side will be to install some ACTion electronics inc a P100(when I get it repaired....so expect a parcel Milbs).

I almost had apoplexy at the sight of all those uninsulated joints and unsupported wires to the resistors, Stav. 
PMK would definitely not have approved!

All those joint are going to be painted with a rubber paint Dave.....the cabling will be fixed to the floor to the superstructure so it can not move due to vibration ect

Looking good! Great tugboat. The former Oakgarth i believe is often seen in my home waters as "Mentor", towing a barge bringing parts for extension works in Stockholm port. She now has her bulwarks raised in the bow.

Hi the Boat I was pushing is a pleasure boat that takes trips around LLanberies lake.......for me to know it has been there for over 10years BUT i dont know where she came form originally.

OH for Gooness sake sorry just re read it sorry MY FAULT I should have read it properly  ,The lights will be toned down slightly with some laquer
