Yes I wish Graupner would stop discontinuing nice little kits, The Pollux is a nice little tug , and also the Graupner Shark, I can Only assume that they have become popular since they stopped being pruduced  <:(

From what I could gather they are all the electronic bits and pieces the owner has managed to destroy over the years.. A few pounds worth there..

Until recently I had a drawer like that, full of customers' U/S stuff. The state of some of it was indescribable - that lot in the coffin looks positively pristine in comparison!
Sorry we didn't go, but The Finance Director/Senior Domestic Management/No 2 on Show Stands/SWMBO has decreed that we have our August Bank Holidays off - so she's outside gardening in the rain and I'm packing kits and orders instead.
I know my place................ {:-{

The Coffin was the most expensive boat on our stand and did indeed display the constructive/destructive efforts of one man.
It sails well but will not get on the plane yet  - but watch this space!

Hello Dave  The  brass  landing craft   was built by Harry Barrow   but alas  there is no  build log . The one comment I can add it's a true work of art .

Excellent set of photo's, even though I was there (seen paddling in the pool) it is always good to look back on an enjoyable weekend, the Convention can only go from strength to strength, well done all involved with the organisation, looking forward to next year.

Huge album of photographs of this event at

all taken by Lachie Stewart.

Index photographs below are NON clickable, please go to Photobucket. I felt the number of pictures would make for an unwieldy post.
