This is just a variation on the rivet counters complaint, wrong kind of barnacle etc. Your critic wouldn't recognise an  ar*****e if you gave him a mirror .   Keep on encrusting, get a Dornier kit as Grendel suggests and ask your "pal" just how much encrustation  he would prefer,scale or semi-scale , with whelks or without.   (if whelks are to be found in that area of course, better check first ).

as some one who likes watching sea wrecks on quest and how they dicover gems, i think it is facinating how you get the realasim . keep them comeing.

Thanks David, I too look at pictures of wrecks at various depths and watch programs to try and get a better idea how they look.
