engel Lafayette
« on: June 09, 2014, 11:09:27 pm »

I have just acquired a engel Lafayette submarine.
Unfortunately the hatch at the back for access to the planes and rudder was missing.
I bought the replacement from engel but need a clear picture of how it is fitted and held into place.
Is anyone able to send me a picture of how this goes together?

Try going to : http://www.engel-modellbau.eu/catalog/downloads.php?kat=2 and scroll down the page, you'll find the builder's manual for the Lafayette available to download for free.

Somewhere (?) I have a shed load of pictures of my Lafayette, there must be a picture of the section you need. I'll have a hunt round and see if I can find them...but don't hold your breath!

Snaffled from a thread on RC groups, you can see the hatch is held in place with a single machine screw.
