Hi All
A few weeks of work making a mould for the windscreen.
Made the two halves using a heat gun to mould the plastic into shape.

Well, that method certainly looks to be a good way to go - as a bonus, if you keep the mould stored away safely, you'll always have a means to make a replacement, should the original suffer any damage over time - well done !

Very swarve , think about some strap downs for it , thin stainless strips will do it , I used the stiffening strips from a Bosch wiper blade , the plastic will come loose in time , vibration , knocking about etc,the plastic alone is too thin an edge to be permanent . . . .

That looks brilliant and so realistic. I salute your efforts in creating a complicated shape and hope you find a way to keep it on the boat as I would hate for it to pop off like Bill suggested.

Hi All
Fixing the windscreen to the boat is no problem, I use super glue gel, but, you only get one shot at it, so think, plan and hold down for three times the drying time !!!
This beast, the half windscreen is 280mm long and I up the game by adding .25mm frames in one piece !!!
In for a penny, in for a pound !!!!
I also made all the window frame with the same white styrene plastic, that was the part.
I was planning to make the windscreen in dark plastic today, but, 27 degrees I was not firing up the mother-in-law( the heat gun) !!!
That was this morning and in the afternoon the temperature drop and we go a rain storm !!!
Yesterday was 29!!!!

Hi All
A bit busy as I have been working on my mate's MFA Spearfish as he was not very well.
As the go to guy in the club, time for a bit for replay.
The boat is going like a steam train, but, at about 40KPH !!!

Back to my boat, windows done, stern ladder done, handrails ready to go, cockpit done, out trim on the windscreen done and no the windscreen is not on !!!

I ran the boat at the weekend and total the rudder!!!
My go to club mate made me a new stainless steel one!!!

Ouch! It must have been going some speed to do that damage - or perhaps the "driver" was distracted?

The replacement looks the business

...and your overall build is coming along nicely.
