Hunstanston is my local beach hunt, about 100 miles round trip. We usually go Sunday afternoon / evening when we are actually driving against all the traffic going the other way!

The other evening ( July 2004 ),the kids wanted out of the house and Mum didn't fancy cooking so we  decided to go to Hunstanton. It was quite warm but very windy as we strolled down the sea front when we noticed some sort of boat  right up out of the water on the sand near the we came across "The Wash Monster!" Me and my mate PD speculated quite a lot as we walked up to it...... "Cor! Look at that!" & "That things big!" & "What is it?" .... the usual intellectual type of conversation wot I does!

Anyway it turns out to be a L.A.R.C. A very interesting and rare ex military vehicle. We had a chat with the guys who told us all about it.... they would VERY INTERESTED to who from any modellers  interested to make model of it!!!!
