My name is Andy Iannetta and I'm an ex RNLI crew member currently living to far from the coast to be on service at the moment, although I am still training onboard an Arun class lifeboat from Barry lifeboat station in South Wales.

As ex-crew I have a special interest and these models are used for fundraising and special events. I am a speaker for the RNLI and I visit schools and organisations around the southwest.

Scale: 1:12 - Trent class lifeboat, 14-12 "Forward Birmingham"

The Trent has more detail, working radar deck lights, nav lights and search light and will have full Radio control soon.

This is only the second model that I have made and only the first from scratch.

I also build model lifeboats to commission.
