Chernobyl is not a deserted land, criminals and drug addicts hang out inside the fenced off area where radiation keeps the cops away. Surprisingly, an 80-year-old couple still lives in the center of Chernobyl in a "little house on the praire" They grow chickens and potatoes and travel outside the "closed zone" to collect their $100 pension. They have a pond full of fish all to themselves, and they are quite happy.
Id like to see more about this topic on youtube. I am especially worried about third world countries (Russia, Pakistan, Former USSR, India, China) gettin nulcear materials that they don't have the infrastructure to maintain safely. I think it is going to be very hard to stop the guys who want a quick fortune by selling nuclear to these countries, President B. being one of these. I don't think the world learned it's lesson after Chernobyl..:(
