Torpedo test sinks US ship

"An Australian submarine has sunk a decommissioned US warship during a test of a new torpedo.

The MK 48 Mod 7 Common Broadband Sonar System torpedo was fired from HMAS Waller during the Rim of Pacific 2008 naval exercise off the coast of Hawaii."

Hello Mark,

That is the best "onboard video" I have ever seen.
Really good, how did you do it ?.
Keeping things in view must take a lot of practice.
Would not be so good if the water was rough !!!.

Hi Guys and Girls., this is not a model boat video but with the recent talk about the Avro Vulcan thought you might like to see some footage of a radio Controlled jet engine version. Also some Tank Towing by one of the Southport model Boat Members today at the Woodvale Rally.

Jaydee, I asked Terry, the club sec to bring his pusher tug ashore then put my little digicompact camera into "video mode" and put it on the deck of the pusher tug Rameses II and sent it on its way. He then sailed the boat around.

In doing it that way are you able to see what you have taken as it is done or do you have to wait until recovery of the cam

PS, I have a colour cctv 2.4 ghz survalance camera which is wi fi and runs on a 12 volt dc transformer. I had thought of mounting it on Tito Neri but that would meen I would have to take the laptop and the cctv rec to the lake which is just too much trouble.

Chernobyl is not a deserted land, criminals and drug addicts hang out inside the fenced off area where radiation keeps the cops away. Surprisingly, an 80-year-old couple still lives in the center of Chernobyl in a "little house on the praire" They grow chickens and potatoes and travel outside the "closed zone" to collect their $100 pension. They have a pond full of fish all to themselves, and they are quite happy.

Id like to see more about this topic on youtube. I am especially worried about third world countries (Russia, Pakistan, Former USSR, India, China) gettin nulcear materials that they don't have the infrastructure to maintain safely. I think it is going to be very hard to stop the guys who want a quick fortune by selling nuclear to these countries, President B. being one of these. I don't think the world learned it's lesson after Chernobyl..:(
