There are some suggestions that Louisiana sinkhole somehow connected with the Gulf of Mexico through the salt dome and the Louann salt layer which connects all of these salt domes and covers over 7 states. The Louann underlies much of the northern Gulf coast from Texas to the Florida panhandle and extends beneath large areas of the Gulf coastal plain of Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Pressure, sediment movements, another floor collapse, gas leak...there is a list of possible causes."

That's a nice boat, but wouldn't it be a diesel? So the 'funnel' would be for a kitchen stove not the engines? Too much smoke for a diesel motor. Needs to be sailed slower as well, scale speed would be much slower. But all in all a nice model.

It's a semidiesel and the funnel is used as the exhaust pipe, and they did actually make a fair amount of smoke in those days and a recognizable sound as you can hear on the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nquwk70m9z4

Yes the speed is to high he was testing a new prop when doing the video, he won silver with this model at the 2013 Naviga Danish Championship
