Eigg is an Island, this is on the mainland between Torridon and Kinlochewe.

Too many Munros to guess, my last is Bein Alligin because it is dramatic, :((  Can we settle on a Munro in Wester Ross, Kinlochewe to Achnasheen road if not Torridon.  For drivers and bikers this is the place to enjoy driving and the coast, plus the famed West Coast Midge.

OK you've all given up!

The hill is Liathach (3,456ft)  The picture is taken from the A986. It was my ambition to climb it but since I had the heart attack I'll haveto think about it again. It is, without doubt, one of the most inspiring areas I have ever visited on my travels however, as arrow says, beware of the mighty midge, they really do bite - hard!

Unmistakable Torridon !   The only known cure for the West Highland Midge is whisky, applied internally.                                                Do I get a "where are we" go now ? :D

I agree with LB, the Highlands are gorgeous. I have had the fortune to drive through the area on four occasions with a friend on driving holidays and yearn to return. The North coast is also brilliant, go up via the east coast from Latheron on the A9 and see the moors. It is just so peaceful it isn't true:O) The Melvich Lodge used to be ne of the only 5star B&Bs with a lounge that oozed a peat fire aroma.

I agree Dave, I went out to Duxford on my first trip to the UK and remember the Sunderland well, I even have photos (somewhere).

I love the Sunderland.
It was the first larger Airfix kit I ever got. Still on 1:72 but bigger than the fighter models.
The whole concept of the Sunderland as well as the lines are marvellous to me.
There are some nice clips of them on youtube.
