This fascinating and insightful interview with Dr Stephen Payne, designer of Queen Mary 2 explains just how  this iconic ship is an Ocean Liner and not a Cruise Ship. Lots of really interesting detail on aspects of the ship's design.

We traveled aboard her in 2011 and it brings back some great memories. We had a floor level table in the Britannia restaurant and it was fabulous.

Our club, Dundee Model Boat club were privileged in February this year to have a visit & talk from Dr Payne. He is a most unassuming and interesting, with numerous bits of info about design & build of QM2. We ended the night with fish & chips in the clubhouse.
