HMS TRENT
« on: April 30, 2006, 06:59:33 pm »

Thought I would just add some of my HMS TON. She is at 1/32, hull was bought, cant remember whoo's it is but I got it from Westbourne models, took a fair amount of re-modelling to get it to look right. She took over 5 years to build and she is still not finished. Over the years she has lost a few bits and pieces. The deck is made up of seperete planks, with the joggle planks cut in and marks for the nail heads. Great fun. I can not remember the last time I took her out, just know that when I got her down this afternnon it took me 2 hours to clean of the dust and grime, she was filthy.  Not the way I meant to spend my afternnon. One day never I will finish it.

Nice model there Colin!

It's a shame she's not out on the water now and again though...no time?

Very nice work there mate! Your detail on posting isn't detracting from your building at all! A most impressive work of art to say the least and please try not to be disheartened by it. We need an occasional masterpiece like your's to keep us motivated.
Well done!!
