multi chanel radio

ive bought a set that has been marketed as a six chanel radio , what it has are five seperate chanels and one the only operates piggy backed from chanel 2 , im assumiing that as its proprtional will i be able to instal a pot as if it were a stick type switch ?

its a planet twister 2.4ghz , with the 8 model memory !
