Bury is conveniently located adjacent to the M66 and connected east and west by the M60 and M62, north and south by the M6 and the M1
Leaving the M66 at junction 2, Clarence Park Lido is easily found just off the A56 in the grounds of Clarence PArk. Once on the a56 look for the Waggon and Horses public house on the left and then Royal Avenue on the right. Go to the end of Royal Avenue, turn left into Milner Avenue and go through the gates on the right hand side into the car park.

Facilities

Bury Metro Marine Modelling Society offers good car parking right next to the lake and clubhouse. Hot and cold food is available at all events, together with copious supplies of tea and coffee. A rescue boat is available..

Yes Bury Club put on some darn good open days and this is no exception a good turn out and a well supported club and great water with easy access to get even the biggest of boats in the water, Even the bacon and sausage sandwiches deserve particular mention.
