GRAUPNER MC-15 / 40MHz / channel 91
« on: March 06, 2015, 06:18:00 pm »

HI there ,

Next week I wheel have in my hand (hopefully) a Graupner MC-15 / 40MHz / 91 channel .
Regarding these I spent all my day (7 to 8 hours !!!) , today in order to find some informations / videos / tutorials at least a PDF Manual for it .
But despite all of my efforts I couldn't find anything , but NOTHING , zip , Zero informations about it . Mybe I'm not so skiled with internet .
I thought maybe was made only 400-500 pieces and nobody cares to put on internet some info .
I know was made around year 2008 ( not OLD , huh ) , and I thought is my last chance to open a thread here about these RC station .
Any information is valuable , so Please feel free to share with me what ever You have .
I am "brand new" to these field and I DON'T know anything about RC . Was the only one I get afford to buy . Is gonna be used for an RC submarine project .
So if You have some directions for me don't hesitate to tell me .

All the best

Does the person who is supplying the radio not have a copy of the manual? I see the manual is available from Graupner but you have to pay for it. http://www.graupner.de/en/products/2bd44aae-64ab-4e81-8b3b-f05b95b2d6a4/8000%20MC-15.2/product.aspx
A bit rich for a set which went out of production five or six years ago!

Unfortunately he didn't  <:(  . I wonder how different is from the MC-16 / 18 as setings , not as new functions ?. Maybe I can use the other manual , huh ?.

Marius
The Graupner radios have never been hugely popular for model boats in the UK, largely due to their price and their "tray" layout. I do think, however, that many German modellers use them - particularly those who make trucks and tanks. You might strike lucky posting your request on one of their Internet forums.
I've not been able to find out any more than you have, and my Dutch is non-existent!

ok marius the connections in the rear of your mc15 are similar to the mc19 I have, the long black sockets are for additional channels either switches or pots the small two pin sockets are for switches only which must be programmed into the radio via the menu system ?
I am not sure if the mc15 and mc 19 share the same menu system
I have the manual for the mc19 which you can have a look at if you want to see if you can gather any information from them

regards mark.

Two possible solutions:
1. Trim the moulded web off the plastic plug moulding; or
2. Change to genuine JR plugs, which are fractionally narrower and also don't have the web. The radio set was manufactured by JR so their plugs should fit.
