Anyone ordering from CMB recently will know they have ramped up their emphasis that orders are taking much longer.
My last order finally took 12 days BUT maybe this advice may help?
If you are a CMB member like myself you MUST put your member number in the delivery instructions!!
This should prioritise your order.
I placed another order yesterday that was acknowledged same day   so we'll see what the current state of play is in the hopefully not too distant future.
Good to know that like other online suppliers they are BUSY.

Anyone buying a model kit? It is a no brainer to pay £10 for CMB membership. With most kits this pays for itself by the 5% off straight away and then 5% off everything for a year.

I'm a long time customer of CMB, and have always found their service excellent.

On Tuesday morning (9th Feb.) I ordered various modelling basics, glue, filler, square and round tube in ABS and brass, (having forgotten to plan ahead!). The website had a banner warning about a five day delivery turnaround, and also quite a few items were flagged as 'Temporarily Unavailable', but, never mind I worked around that, and I'm sure the stock issues aren't CMB's fault in these difficult times.

Anyway, my entire order turned up today (Thu. 11th Feb.), 48 hours after placing the order on their website. So thanks to Cornwall Model Boats for their superb service, and also well done to the Royal Mail in the present inclement weather, (where's all this global warming?).

I too am a long  term customer of CMB. I placed a small order on Monday afternoon and it arrived at lunchtime today. 3 days is prety good all things considered.

Do Cmb update their website for listing that show as temporarily unavailable. I've tried to phone them to check on such items but can't get through.

  I think they are a bit bogged down at present but , I have an order that is taking a bit longer than usual , but hey ho!   Yes as soon as items become available they update their site, month ago a bought the OcCre London tram which has been showing TU for some time.  I think the current hiatuses has knocked a lot of their suppliers and inbound deliveries.

Very sad to say I had attrocious behaviour with Fed-ex by them yesterday. Whatever you do, don't use the Fed-ex option on CMB orders   Looking on trustpilot since a 91% bad review on Fex-ex so I'm obviously not alone!


....I'm also missing a part but not had any response from CMB yet.
