There is a reasonably big marshalling yard the other side of the I5.. though it doesnt seem that busy when we did a 'drive by' the other day. Its a point where the big ships can get to on the Columbia, some 'stuff' goes North / South via Rail... and a lot goes up river via BIG barge and pusher tug. There looks like there might be some push tug / boat pics coming by the way...
This part of the Columbia is good for small boats... and out towards the coast. Inland there can be some very high winds due to the shape of the Columbia gorge... ideal for the windsurfing crowd.
By the way, we are to the East of the I205.... and if you look 40 miles North of us, you can see Mt St Helens...
