i was surprised to find this boat whith the other items on show wear is it sorry i forgot to rotat picture

I think you will find that it is in the correct place, Hendon Air Force Museum by the look of the hangar. It will be an RAF rescue boat, fire-boat or a seaplane tender. It used to sit outside in the open, painted dark blue.

That's definitely a "Belfast Truss" roof, so probably at Duxford or Hooton Park.
