USS Texas (BB-35)
« on: November 19, 2008, 04:39:41 am »

Greetings, all.

I'm new to the forum, so please excuse me if I stumble around a bit. I've just completed a 34 day road trip across the US and back, and along the way, visited some museum ships. These include the USS Texas, USS Alabama, USS Laffey, USS North Carolina, and LST 325, which is a working vessel, still in WWII configuration.

At any rate, I took lots of photos of each - external and internal - and will attempt to share them over time, assuming people are interested. What follows are selected photos of the USS Texas - the only battleship still afloat that saw action in both WWI and WWII. The photos are a bit larger than the recommended sizes, so I hope they will be allowed. Sizing them down makes details difficult to see, but if it's a problem, I will make them smaller. This is my first attempt, so bear with me.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Logoman,

I have a website of my own, and I'm in the process of building a photo gallery for these images.

Meanwhile, what screen resolution do you use? I'll put a few up in that resolution for you, so you can see more details, and post a link here. Also, do you have any requests for particular shots you like to see in a larger size?
