I'll be there----of course  :-))
I'll be bringing my large marquee to put up in the campsite so we all have a place to meet and chat in the evenings (oh and maybe a beer or 2) and keep the sun off during the day  8)
My straight running markers
Generator for battery charging etc
Radio Mic for Martin and Bradders to entertain the masses
Something to BBQ on Savs table
A sense of humour (of course)

Oh and some boats     :-) :-)

Brian dont bother with the disposable Barbies all taken care of

Me I will be bringign along the Stering course Markers so I can rake havoc due to my sense of humour, 2 x large Gazeebos and FIRE PROOF TABLES

The Stav trophy for straight runnign. Some spot prizes, and 2 straight runners .1 will be set up ready fro the straight running competition so if anyone does not have a boat you can use mine.

A fire suit for Steamboat Phil ands asbestos gloves so he can catch the straight runners when the Omra lads let them loose.

A rugby ball for the springer sheenanagins

Maybee if I get it finished in time a 4 foot barge for towing.

Myself and a host of boats 1 will definatly be a surprise my wonderfull sense of humour....Lord knows I need it with Phil about O0 O0 {-) {-)

For the poor unfortunates amongst us who can't afford a tent/caravan/motorhome  <:( <:(
does anyone remember if there are any B&B's/hotels/travelodges within staggering distance of the park?
I only live 30 mins away, but would like to partake of the evenings festivities without having to remain teetotal for driving  :police:

If not I will still be coming both days with my little OMRA AA boat, and of course I couldn't leave the bear behind (ooh - matron!!)  ;D
Cheers

Danny

Do you want to borrow my daughters tent, it sleeps 6 or 8 people I can not remember how many but I can bring it with me. Cheaper than a B&B :-))

A kind and generous offer Brian, many thanks.  The real reason for the lack of tent is not really financial - but if I were to sleep in the open nowadays, I'd be so stiff next day you could use me as a barge for the Springer towing contest!!
So I'm afraid I will just have to "rough it" in a warm, dry, comfy bed once more .....
Such is life  %)

As last year I'm guessing, you contact George at Wicksteed re the camping (reception might be able to help) They might say the camp site doesn't open until June 1st, but if you say its for the Mayhem weekend they should know (is this still correct Martin) I will be arriving on the Friday with Stav to start the drinking I mean get the Mayhem Marquee up in the camp site  :-)) :-))

The Wicksteed Park webpage gives the campsite opening date as 22nd May (they must have seen you coming...).
I've booked in at the Travelodge so I can attend on Saturday for the fun and games, leave the boats with someone (who isn't going to get drunk and take them for a "midnight sail") (as if you would...), return for the evening "table roast", stagger (or more likely get a taxi) back and snore the night away to awake refreshed and minus hangover  %) ready for the usual 'cursing inthe rain' Sunday event  :-))
Sounds idylic, doesn't it!  Can't wait.

Boatmadman on here, a very fine gent he is too, sent me a pair of motors for my Algerine class Minesweeper O0

News to all those hoping for an IC demo, I got my black Multi running today with a Merco in it, and changed the engine over this afternoon to a Novarossi. Goes very well, shall give you all a show with it, and Danny and Bill will join me with their AA and Z class boats :-))
