Spektrum DX6i
« on: September 29, 2012, 05:43:34 pm »

Have picked one of these up reasonably cheap, (albeit Mode 1), but the manual is all a bit heavy for me.

Can anyone explain in very simple terms the programming of one of these, all the plane speak baffles me, especially the use of the mixers etc.

Sorry if this is all a bit stupid or openended, but just hoping there is someone with a sight more nouse than me out there!

Thanks.

Its pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it.

What are you trying to do with it?

Thanks Chip, will have a read through that lot.

What I really could do with is factory default reset which after a quick scan through the menus wasn't apparent. Previous owner only had one helo programmed into the set, but would like to know i'm starting from the beginning.

As to what I'm hoping to do with it, my second hand Moonraker is the subject, all those thrusts, steering and reverse buckets! Plus the boost jet and then any little addins like lights etc. hence adding the 6i to my 5e. So many fingers needed these days!

Thanks for the help so far all

just reset that model memory
i think your better using it in aircraft mode rather than heli mode , i know using aircraft mode on my dx8 for boats is a lot better for me than heli mode

my brother in law bought a dx6i earlier this summer , which ive been left to initially set up , for marine use you will need to use the aero mode , when binding the rx it will only work with whichever model the tx is set to at the time of binding !  jon
